I walked (limped) into the MIU in Lewes Victoria last Friday with a badly scalded foot which had become infected. I was greeted immediately and, after a chat with the nurse and some paperwork, was seen within half an hour. My scalded foot was expertly cleaned, dressed and bandaged and I was given antibiotics for the infection. The sister sent off photos of my foot and made an appointment for me to see a burns specialist at the Queen Victoria hospital. I was given a lovely cup of tea while they did this. After they had finished and explained what I should and shouldn't do over the next few days, the nurse even called a taxi for me! I'm very grateful for the thorough, caring and professional treatment I received from your kind staff. Thank you
