What could be improved

More staff...only 1 Dr on duty, 1 HCA, 2 nurses & 1 triage nurse...resulting in a long & painful wait of 41/2 hrs before seeing the Dr

There was no x-ray after backslab was fitted to check if bones were in the correct position

The follow up visit to fracture clinic(broken wrist) was awful the wait long, no x-ray & a very uninterested consultant who asked if I could waggle my fingers & nothing else

Plaster cast was fitted ( still no x-ray) appointment made for following week with x-ray when it was then decided the break was to angulated & I needed surgery to fix it, this was made for the following day later by phone call to my home but was at Brighton (seperate post made)

I feel I may have been spared pain & discomfort had all the staff not been so rushed all of the time
