About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

I was recently admitted to CDU and then ward 31as an emergency with abdominal pain after a recent operation. The service and all staff were excellent. Friendly and extremely professional. My triage through CDU and onto the ward was fast and efficient and I was fully informed throughout. My admission was unexpected and the pain extreme but the doctors and nursing staff went above and beyond The call of duty. All levels off staff in cdu and ward 31 are a true credit to the ward and manager. The matron on the surgical floor should be very proud of this standard of care. Excellent gold standard.
