"Ward 18 ...Transurethral Resection of Prostate"

Ward 19 was temporarily being used to cope with winter bedding/A..E crisis, (or so I was told ) )so common to many NHS hospitals these days and I was treated here for three nights in a single room. As ex-NHS professional I was intrigued to see the experience from the patients point of view. It was a very positive experience and I am grateful to all the staff, in their various jobs for a consistently high patient-centred attitude, they were pleasant, friendly, responsive and just professional in their approach. I was blessed with a pain free admission , and much less anxiety than I had anticipated, mainly due to staff approach, I am sure.
