"How welcoming."

About: Diana, Princess Of Wales Hospital

I attended an interview yesterday at DPOW. I entered the main building and did not have a clue where I was heading,so I made my way to the signs and was only looking for a few seconds when a porter asked if I was lost and told me where I was meant to be going. I was very thankful I went on my way, a little further down the corridor I was still checking signs making sure I was still heading in the right direction when another porter stopped and asked if I was ok. How welcoming and refreshing this was and what a lovely friendly place this must be to work. Your porters are a very good role model for everyone that works with the public.

Hi Brenda, what lovely feedback! Our porters are indeed a friendly bunch and usually do go out of their way to help patients and visitors. Thanks very much for taking the time to share this with us. Kind regards, Sarah Mainprize
