"Brought in with chest pain, shortness of breath"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I was seen promptly by a very pleasant nurse a short history was taken and observations I was fully informed of what was happening. I was moved to another area where bloods were taken and further observations including ECG, I was immediately Told that all seemed normal, I was seen soon after by a very pleasant doctor who listened to my chest, suspected a chest infection and ordered n x ray After the x ray I was again seen by the same doctor who told me I had an infection in my left lung, and prescribed antibiotics. At all times I felt confident in those who looked after me with consideration , respect , and a very pleasant manner

Dear Mr Jones Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us. I am so pleased that throughout your time within the Emergency Department you felt confident and had a generally positive experience with us. I will definitely let the Senior Management Team within the Emergency Department know of your feedback, as I am sure they will be just as pleased to read this as I was. I hope that the antibiotics prescribed will help ease your chest infection and would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best for the future. Kindest Regards Leanne Complaints Officer
