"A Huge Thank You To My Nurse & Doctor"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

After 6 days with the worst migraine of my life my partner took me down to A&E. It was a last resort as we had already had the out of hours doctors out twice but nothing was easing the pain and I was severely dehydrated from sickness. I would like to thank both the nurse and doctor who looked after me whilst I was there, hospital is never nice and always makes me anxious but they were fantastic. Unfortunately I was so out of it I didn't get their names, but with all the horror stories you hear about patient care and the poor state of the NHS, I think it's important to take note when you are so well looked after. This is full credit to the people and not necessarily the system, I have relatives who have received terrible patient care from nurses who couldn't care less, so thank you both.

Hello there, Thank you very much for getting in touch to share this feedback with us. It's good to hear that you received support from our staff when you needed it most and we'll pass your comments on to the A&E team at Cheltenham. Hope you're now feeling better at home. Best wishes The team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
