From arriving for my operation on Sunday 19 April I was treat with care and dignity. From the consultant, the anaesthesia staff were all caring and kind. On the ward D48 from the first moment the nurses and everyone else including cleaning staff were respectful and nice. The ward was clean, when I needed lots of support just after my op and was buzzing every hour for help no one made me feel as if I was being a nuisance, no one was impatient with me. The food was ok not too bad at all and enough of it. Although this was a very busy ward when possible staff chatted and made the stay more human. I will be returning later this year to get my other hip replaced I would recommend the Surgeon, the hospital and the staff with no reservations. Thank you Sunderland Royal
