Having attended the hospital twice recently I am appalled by the treatment of the staff and dr's there. I have had mental health problems in the past as I have a large file but it seems as soon as the dr's see the records they dismiss me immediately - I was sent to hospital as an urgent case from my gp after having an ecg. My heart was doing odd things. My gp thought it was serious enough to call an ambulance but the hospital dr dismissed this and suggested I needed higher anti depressants, my gp was not happy and after placed me on medication themself to sort this. Second time there I had suffered sudden hearing loss in one ear, after a initial assessment I was told I would see an ENT dr but when my records came up no doctor was suddenly available and an appointment was made to re attend in a weeks time. Dr's and Nursing staff need to treat people with mental health problems with a lot more respect.
