I needed a bone shoulder operation. I was told it would take up to 8 weeks, but I explained that I could be available at a moments notice and left my mobile phone number with them. 2 days later the call came. A patient was ilol and could not attend his operation. 3 days later I entered the new 24 hour unit for my operation. $ people were in a very large room. My anaesthatist came and chatted to me for about 5 minutes. He explained what was going to happen and asked if I had any questions and did I want to go ahead. Half an hour later the surgeon came and repeated the process. All possible risks were explained. The operation was perfect no pain no discomfort. The nursing staff were wonderfull. They checked my temperature and pulse etc every 10 minutes for about an hour and gave me oxygen when needed. The hospital was better than private, personal TV and phone. I give it 10 stars. Well done NHS and MK hospital

It was all that I could dream of. Don't change a thing
