What I liked

My father had a pretty scary fall at MK train station and was brought to the A&E by ambulance. The treatment he got was excellent - from the crew to the A&E attending nurse and nurse practitioner.

What could be improved

Waiting to be discharged because there was only 1 doctor available

I had a real problem with parking. I had left my 80 year old father in a wheelchair outside A&E in the hot sun. My ticket wouldnt work in the pay station machine and there appeared to be no call button, so I went to the car park barrier and called the security attendant on the intercom.It was pretty clear that the prime concern is revenue not patient welfare as he made me walk back into the main hospital to find him to pay the £2 for my ticket - leaving my dad for about 15mins all told whilst I found him. Not Acceptable. I was happy to pay - just why couldnt more consideration be shown to patient needs!
