What I liked
The Hospice was a pleasant enironment for both patients and visitors. All staff were friendly and welcoming. My dad spent his last eight days of life at the CMH and everything was done to make this as comfortable as possible.
What could be improved
Due to lack of funding some of the beds were closed. The CMH relies heavily on charitable donations which I don't think the community appreciate until they actually experience the CMH personally - I know I didn't, but I now know the value and importance of the hospice to the patients and their families that need the support that it offers.
Anything else?
Just want to say thanks to all at the Countess Mountbatten House for all their kindness and hardwork.
