"Whilst confined to bed and having ..."

About: Southampton General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Whilst confined to bed and having to use bed pans and bottles I was never once offered anything to wash with afterwards, hands or otherwise(male patient) yet the ladies were given wipes etc. I had to ask every time.

What could be improved

standard practise to give everyone stuck in bed some means of cleaning hands etc.

Anything else?

realise you were short of staff at the time but bottles could be removed quicker.
