"Thanks to Kettering A&E, Skylark Ward, and..."

My daughter fell off a swing and broke her arm. Kettering General Hospital staff were superb. We arrived in A&E with my daughter in obvious severe pain. The staff brought us straight into the children's bay and got her comfortable asap. Nurses were fantastic. Radiographer gentle and efficient. Seen by Orthopedic Reg and sho, both were reassuring and helpful. Admitted overnight to Skylark ward. What an incredibly well designed ward to cater for children and their accompanying adult. Paediatric nurses were so attentive and ensured my daughter was comfortable and kept at ease. Play specialist kept her occupied and distracted her when needed. Anaethetist saw her on the ward and gave us so much confidence that she would be well looked after. Porter to theatre, and ward cleaners were friendly. Orthopedic consultant and theatre/ recovery nurses were excellent. Overall a simply outstanding performance from all the staff from start to finish. Combined with excellent hospital facilities. We couldn't have wished for more. We just want to say a big thanks to everyone.
