"Day surgery-overnight stay"

I went in for day surgery and from the moment i arrived i was looked after, my procedure went well and i had to stay overnight to look out for any bleeding, i had no things with me but the staff took fantastic care of me and checked my vitals all night, the night nurse who looked after all the ladies in my room was so lovely and caring , the hospital was clean and the outpatient unit was brilliant, the nurses were fantastic and very thorough, i had to take a pregnancy test to make sure i was not expecting before having my op , while i was being rigged up to the anaesthetic the nurse held my hand as i was very nervous as it was my first time, i then woke up and the care i received after was amazing and i was in no pain whatsoever, i was quite warm so they gave me a fan for the night..well done the NHS! It is great to know my national insurance actually goes towards such a fantastic service.
