"Efficient emergency care at East Surrey"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

After 999 admission to A&E at East Surrey Hospital I was third in line for initial assessment. The wait was about 20 minutes.

After a quick check I was moved to a cubicle where Bloods were taken. Appoximately 10 minutes later I was moved to another cubicle and was treated by a doctor. Following receipt of the blood tests and a full explanation of my problem a desicion was made to allow me to leave and return home.

In every respect my treatment was very good. All the hospital staff were thoroughly professional and courteous as were the ambulance crew. In all from calling 999 to leaving the hospital took about 3 hours.
