My husband remarked on feeling unwell at 7.30 this morning. By 9.45 he had seen his GP, who made an appointment for him to be assessed at the OPAU at 11.30 this morning. All the basic tests were done by 1.30 and he had seen the consultant who diagnosed a minor stroke. Absolutely brilliant performance by the NHS. The staff at the OPAU were kindness itself at this very worrying time, and everything was explained carefully and thoroughly. We couldn't wish for better treatment. We are most grateful to everybody.
