"All in all a pleasant experience"

(as the patient),

I was sent a letter that told me to book an appointment. The Tel No was from an area 30 miles away so I had visions of having to travel 30+ miles for the appointment. I rang the number and after a couple of rings a lady called Julie answered. She asked me for my UBRN and also for my name and date of birth. I gave her that info and we confirmed my home address. The then offered me a choice of hospitals, one of which was my nearest, just five miles away. She offered me a date and time which I accepted as both were convenient to me.

All in all, it was a pleasant experience.
