About: University Dental Hospital

my wife attended the dental hospital yesterday with my 4 month old son. Apparently you feel it is acceptable to direct people to a chair in the disabled toilet for breastfeeding. can you please explain why this is acceptable in 2015. would you like to eat your dinner in the toilet ?

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that your experience was not as positive as we would hope on 15th April 2015. It is important to us that comments are heard and seen as an opportunity provided to the service to make changes and improvements wherever possible.

In response to your comment, we can tell you that we do have a breast feeding room which is located next to the Children’s Department on the second floor of the dental hospital. It is unclear why your wife was directed to the disabled toilet by a member of our staff for which we would like to apologise for. We will ensure that our staff are aware to direct patients and visitors that would like to our breast feeding room to the correct location so that others don’t experience the same issues as your wife did.
