What I liked
When the NHS works, it works really well. I was diagnosed with a detatched retina and operated on the next day. I encountered great nursing and theatre staff and excellent consultants.
What could be improved
The appointment system afterwards wasn't very impressive, I was booked into the walk-in eye clinic instead of seeing my consultant which wasted everyones time
