I have just been well looked after in A&E, a1 & b2 wards over Easter Sunday to Tuesday after having had 6 seizures. The media is quick to focus on negative stories, but I am very grateful to all doctors, nurses, consultants, assistants & volunteers who make possible the delivery of such good care. My mum died there, but in her last weeks b2 and e1 & 2 wards cared for her with dignity, following some strokes she had suffered. My wife nearly died in 2oo6, 9 years ago, but the care she received, along with Salford Royal Neuro Intensive Care, saved her life, and she is still alive today. My son had a mental illness 2 years ago, but thankfully is now fully recovered & living in japan. All our 3 children were born there in 1979, 1980 & 1986. Our children have also had operations too, and I can only speak highly of the hospital at all times. I am sad for those who have sad experiences, but with prayer & faith in god along with good health care we say to all at SHH, well done, you do a great job, and for every bad story, there is 25 good ones that are not reported!! Many thanks, David Welch
