"Day surgery staff"

The process from arriving at 7.15 yesterday (13.4.15) to going into theatre put me at ease. Efficient and friendly. I had been assigned a bed for overnight stay but the person being discharged from that bed space would not go to the lounge . This meant I was in the recovery room for five hours. This issue was reported upwards. The staff in Recovery made me comfortable by finding a proper bed and made me drinks, took me to the loo when requested. They topped that by arranging for my son and his family to visit me before driving four hours to their home.. That was very special for me and I will be telling friends and work colleagues. I have complained about the hospital in the past when things have gone wrong. It is therefore important I give credit where it is due.
