"totally hostile attitude"

About: Glenfield Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

the hostility shown to me at glenfield hospital has been so bad that I now refuse to go near the hospital, I have had to go to counselling in the past because of the way I have been treated I almost became suicidal recently thinking about the way I have been treated. I am getting some help now but not from the hospital, I have done nothing against this hospital, that I know of yet their hostility is unbelieveable. if I have trouble with my heart again I am trying to arrange to go to another heart hospital. I never want to see that hospital again

Dear Sailan,

We are incredibly saddened by your experience with us at Glenfield and I know the team will be devastated to hear you feel this way. We normally have such positive feedback about the Cardiology Service so it is concerning to hear you do not share the same experiences.

Our head of operations for Renal, Respiratory and Cardiac Services, Sam Leak would like you to contact her so she can discuss this in more detail. We take all concerns very seriously and would like the opportunity to learn from your experience.

She can be contacted on Samantha.leak@uhl-tr.nhs.uk or by calling 0116 256 3330 or 07947 723 537.

Best wishes

Laura Mort
