This hospital has major problems from confusing directional signs, that could easily be rectified, along with difficulty obtaining suitable/timely appointments and then lack of patient involvement with care. My experience with the Orthopaedic Department has been disjointed and dismissive and has been a complete waste of NHS and my time and money. I have seen a different doctor on every occasion and at least one has been a locum, which seems to be the norm. Also arrived for one appointment to find that results were not available, so a wasted visit, when the consultant was sitting in another room and could easily have been asked to review scans, if they are worth their salt. Apparently patients' time is on no value. Also the ridiculous situation where doctors refused to address other orthopaedic problems that could be dealt with at the same time. In other words patients are being shunted back and forth to their G.P. to be re-referred, thus having to wait even longer for treatment.
"Unsatisfactory"
