What I liked

I was kept informed at all times about my progress through the day. The staff in all areas I came into contact with were very pleasant & helpful

What could be improved

Waiting area in Surgical Admissions was poorly equipped for waiting long periods of time. No magazines unless you were interested in angling or celebrities. Brochure about hospital needs updating. Per brochure relatives are discouraged from waiting with patient. This was clearly not the case when we were there as seat for relative was supplied. Also brochure said no mobile phones were allowed & they are allowed in the areas I attended including the ward I was on 12a
