On Monday 23rd February my partner was showing signs of having another stroke. I phone his doctor at 8.10 am. We saw a Dr at 9.30. They arranged for us to be seen in the TIA clinic at 11 am. We arrived at about 10.30 and was immediately seen by the nurse running the clinic. They had all the paperwork done and ready for us. They were kind, thoughtful and caring. We then had to go to have blood taken and an ECG. The nurse came and found us in both places to make sure he was OK. When we went back to the stroke ward we were immediately seen by the Dr. who assured us that there had not been another stroke but that one of the medicants was causing the symptoms. New tablets were prescribed and the rogue one discontinured. The time now is 1pm. So within five hours we were reassured, treated and sent on our way. You could not have had any better than this level of service even if you paid for it. Thank you so much. I have written to David Cameron and received a written response, he passed it on to the Department of Health who also responded. They advised I write to the hospital which I did and now I'm writing to you. Hopefully enough people have been told what a wonderful job you guys are doing. I get sick and tired listening to all the negative comments about the James Paget, I wish they would report all the good you do. Linda
