What I liked

The Consultant who took over my care from the A&E consultant was very friendly and re-assuring.

What could be improved

The nurses on the gyne ward. On return to the ward after my surgery, i had just had a general anesthetic, i was scared and in considerable amount of pain. When i told the nurse this she told me to 'shut up'. I was then left in pain for matter of time, until the consultant administered me some pain medication.

On discharge from the ward, the day after i had my surgery, i was discharged without the nurses giving me my morning painkillers, and made to sit in a waiting area for a few hours, which was extremely painful, as i walked past the bay i had been in, there wasn't anybody in the bed they had booted me out of.

I was disgusted at the care (lack of care) i received from the nurses on that ward.
