"should be winning awards"
Posted by J************e
I had a bunion operation at the beginning of December 2014. From first to last of this process I couldn't have got better treatment. Great surgeon, great staff, great treatment. The op was done under a local, which sounds scary, but is actually great, because you can go home immediately after the op, wonderful. Didn't feel a thing, read my kindle, listened to some music, had a chat with staff. If having an op could be classed as fun, then this was it. I am now fully recovered with no pain. I have spoken recently to someone who had the same op at a general hospital 3 weeks before me and she is still in a lot of pain; she didn't have any physiotherapy advice and was told to go back to work after 2 weeks, with crutches!! Braintree Community hospital should be winning awards for their service, which is a bit uncomfortable, because if something is doing well and the patients love it, the commissioners usually withdraw funding and close it! Long may they reign!
