What I liked

Every aspect of my treatment was first class.

Following diagnosis of thyroid cancer, I was dealt with in a very caring and sensitive way. My consultant was exceptionally good at keeping me informed and reassured, and worked very hard to make sure that my treatment progressed rapidly. The doctors and nurses assisting were very supportive and understanding too.

I was particularly impressed by the radiology department who were very helpful, and the staff on the surgical admissions ward who were lovely - they were reassuring and judged their dealings with me perfectly, which meant that I went down to the theatre feeling confident about the procedure.

The staff on Forrest Ward were superb. Absolutely everybody was faultless. I can't rate them highly enough.

What could be improved

Nothing - I was highly impressed.

Anything else?

The staff at Torbay went the extra mile for me. Although my treatment is still continuing, they have given me real confidence for the future.

I hope you are all proud of what you have achieved together.
