I turned up in A&E a couple of weeks ago. I had lost a lot of blood and was unable to register at reception because I was on the verge of blacking out (88/53 BP). The receptionist tasked a nurse to take care of me, I was on a bed inside of a couple of minutes and on a drip shortly afterwards. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Once out of immediate danger I was moved to a recovery/surgery ward to be assessed. The staff there were great, especially a trainee nurse from Bath. I was released after a few hours. It had been a good experience as far as hospital treatment goes. No complaints at all, teh staff did the NHS credit.
