I had gave birth at the royal a month ago, all the staff on the labour ward were fantastic! It was my first child and they were very supportive throughout my stay both on the labour suite and on trinity. The hospital was very clean and there was always somebody cleaning/changing bedding or just generally tidying. They also let my partner stay with me on the ward until i went home which was a great support for me. Couldn't thank the staff enough made a painful birth manageable and as comfortable as possible. Very pleased!

Many congratulations on the birth of your first baby - what an exciting time! I hope you're all doing really well and getting used to life as a family. Our maternity service is highly-regarded but it is always good to hear about personal experiences.
