I cannot fault the Alexandra Maternity Unit. With the care I received during both of my pregnancies having complications, I recieved fantastic Care. I could not have received better care in my opinion. I had many procedures,consultant appointments and scans . Fantastic experience even though extremley worrying time.Safe delivery of both my children one being an emergency. I have also received treatment since the pregnacies at the maternity unit and once again fantastic. Was seen within 2 weeks to remove cells after bad smear result. Just 2 weeks !!! unbeleivable from start to finish. I do get very annoyed when tTreliske gets such bad comments. If it hadn't been for the pedatric unit in Jan 09 my little girl may not be here now. My son received swift treatment in the urology department in 2006 , my husband in A and E 2007. The care my mother in law received in 2004 for a 6 months stay , the list goes on. feel very very fortunate to live so close to, in my opinion a wonderful hospital !!!
