"Thank you from the bottom of my heart"

About: East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust / Emergency ambulance Lincoln County Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I would like to the Thank everybody concerned with my care on Saturday night, The service I received was of a very high standard, It started with the Ambulance crew, could you pass a big thank you for my care that I received from them.

I was jumped up the cue because it was a head injury and also being on a spinal board and in the neck and head brace.

The Doctor checked my back, neck and head, sorted out the x-rays, but could not tell from that so had to go for CT scans and more X-rays and then final when we got the results, they had to glue my head back together and find me a bed in the hospital.

I cannot thank everybody enough for their care treatment support that they gave me on Saturday night. Where would we be without our brilliant NHS

Thank you from the bottom of my heart

Hi Janet

Thank you so much for your lovely words. I know that Karen has already shared with all of the nursing and clinical teams. I have also shared it with the senior managers at Lincoln so they are aware of the fantastic job the team does under extreme pressure.

I hope you are well on the way to a full recovery.

Regards

Sharon Kidd

Dear Sent580,

Thank you for sharing your experience and your kind words regarding the care you received.

If you are able, we would appreciate it if you could share a bit more detail with our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) team e.g. date, time and location of the call. They will then be able to identify the ambulance crew who cared for you and will share your thanks with them.

You may contact them via telephone on 0333 012 4216 or email PALS.Office@emas.nhs.uk.

I hope you are recovering well.

Best wishes,
