What I liked

I cannot fault the staff in any way all was excellent, as was my treatment.

What could be improved

I have been an outpatient since 1990 due to glaucoma. When I first attended I would have my appointment, then go to reception and book my next appointment for six months time all was fine. Now I am told that this cannot be booked that far in advance and that I would be contacted nearer the time with a appointment date and time. THEY NEVER DO!! I always have to contact you to make my appointment. This year I was due one in March 2009 I have been waiting till now August 2009 and thought I had better do the usual. I now have a appointment for September 2009 six months late.

I can make appointments with the Dentist and Opticians a year in advance why not you.

Anything else?

Get more personnel to man the reception phone it usually takes over an hour to get through. It is more often than not quicker to drive up in the car than phone.
