Thank you, Stuart, for taking the time to leave feedback about your visit to Russells Hall Hospital. We are very sorry to hear that you have had such a negative experience. Like at most other hospitals in the region, patients and visitors are charged for parking and the cost of parking at our hospital is on a par with other hospitals in the West Midlands. The income from charges is used to maintain the car parks and provide security. We do take your point about the time it takes to get to Dudley from Halesowen. It is a busy route. Although we always do our very best to keep to appointment times, sometimes clinics do run later than planned due to appointments running over. We are very sorry if you waited longer than you would have liked to be seen by the doctor and the inconvenience this caused you. We are very sorry that you feel you have been targeted as a trouble maker. We welcome all feedback – good or bad. This website is just one way for patients to tell us how we’re doing – we also do real-time surveys and inpatients are given the opportunity to complete a Friends and Family Test card. We would like to assure you that all comments are taken seriously and acted upon as part of our on-going commitment to improving patient experience.
