"Courtesy and kindness at cystoscopy n CT scan in..."

I am a very anxious patient who was petrified by the thought of the above procedures. However the staff at the urology department from reception to the person doing the cystoscopy were kindness itself. Their patience competence and compassion towards myself was humbling and reassuring. From first getting my appointment and ringing the department to see if I could be asleep during the procedure I spoke to a nurse who had had the procedure themselves and their reassurance supported and enabled me to attend the appointment. All the staff were wonderful in this department and I can't praise them highly enough. Today I went for a CT scan and the two members of staff on duty there were very kind, considerate and keen to protect my dignity. All in all a first class service that can't be faulted.
