"Diagnosis of kidney cancer"

About: Royal Victoria Hospital (Folkestone) (Folkestone)

We were unable to sit with my father whilst awaiting his appointment. We were removed twice from unit due to lack of space. Doctor had not looked at his notes. He sat there over an hour in his dressing gown for a procedure he didn't need. If only someone had looked at the notes. It could have saved two and a half hours before being told he had cancer. No relatives there with him and just given a leaflet. It's not an every day occurrence to be told you have cancer but doctors forget that !! We now have many questions unanswered.
