"Excellent service"

About: Gravesham Community Hospital

I attended the MIU after my son injured his knee playing ice hockey. I fully expected a wait of Darenth Valley A&E proportions however found only one other person already waiting. We were booked in and seen very quickly & our wait for the radiologist was negligible. Very swift diagnosis of the problem & good info on interim care pending referral to the fracture clinic at DVH. If I have one criticism, it is that the unit is not open 24/7, including radiology. I'm certain that if it was, it would take some pressure off DVH. This is, of course, not down to the staff who work there who are a credit to the NHS.
