"Thank you"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

My boyfriend recently had a big scare - during a dermatology appointment we were told he had a form of skin cancer. Right from the outset the Dr and nurse were very caring and went out of their way to reassure myself and my boyfriend they would be able to treat this just by an operation and explained steps clearly. The biopsy took a week (so quick) and my boyfriend has been booked in for the operation next month - we honestly thought we'd be waiting months. Just wanted to express our appreciation to the Dr and Staff. Kings is always first rate (I am an Typr 1 diabetic outpatient) but have to say how amazing their care was in this situation. We are so lucky to have the NHS in this country (I lived in the USA for 4 years) and let me tell you it's first class. I just wanted to say that you are appreciated and don't let the bad press get you guys down - all the Nurses, doctors and support staff I have ever seen are doing a fab job!

Thank you for such positive feedback about the prompt assessment and treatment plan organised for your partner within our Dermatology department which explained offer reasurance that his condition was surgically treatable.
