About: Royal Bolton Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as the patient),

The doctors and nurses were very professional and helpful whilst treating me for my asthma and I felt safe and at ease while I was there.

I do not think there was enough staff for the people of the ward because some were left on or waiting for commodes for a long time.

I would like to thank Helen and Michelle from Thoracic medicine department and the nurse in triage at my admissions. I can't remember her name, but she was very helpful, professional and caring.

Thank you for your very positive comments on the care you received from staff at the Thoracic Medicine Department.

We are however very sorry that there seemed to be delays for patients waiting for commodes and we have asked that the matron for that particular area ensures that the staffing on the wards is adequate.
