"It was in part a let-down"

About: Nuffield Health, Shrewsbury Hospital Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I was extremely happy with the speed of being given a choice of appointments. I took the earliest at a weeks’ notice, this took place at Nuffield hospital, Shrewsbury. All staff and the consultant were great. What wasn’t good at all was the fact that a scan needed to help with the diagnosis of my knee injury hadn’t been received by the consultant. So it was in part a let-down, fast administration, friendly staff; Great.

Co-ordination – not great, why wasn’t the scan sent over?

Dear Piper99

Thank you for taking the time to respond to TRAQS request for feedback.

I am pleased that TRAQS were able to arrange a prompt appointment and disappointed that the scan results were not available at the time of your appointment with the consultant.

Unfortunately TRAQS do not arrange scans for patients, that is done by the GP practice therefore the lack of the scan results being included with your referral letter is outside TRAQS control.

Thank you again for sharing your feedback with the TRAQS team
