I got a call at 20.00 3 days before my operation. I was given no reason or explanation for the cancellation. I have read that 100,000 operations are cancelled every year which has made me feel like another statistic.
I have made and kept 3 appointments with the hospital totalling 9 hours off work. This has made me think the NHS is a compromise.
