"Excellent care on a busy ward"

About: Wansbeck Hospital

I was admitted on Wednesday 18th March to ward 15 for a minor operation. The staff were all cheerful, conscientious and hard working. I can't praise everyone enough for the care and attention I was given. Unfortunately I had an adverse reaction to the anaesthetic and had to stay in a little longer than anticipated. Throughout my day stay nothing was too much trouble and I would like to thank the staff. Often we hear of bad service but I would like to thank all of the staff from the consultant to the nurses and porters for their courteous and caring attitude. Nothing was too much trouble and they deserve to be thanked as everything ran as smoothly as possible.

Dear Christine, Sorry to hear that your reaction to the anaesthetic kept you in hospital longer than we would all like. I am pleased however that it gave you the opportunity at close hand to observe our fantastic staff. Thank you for taking the time to share all that the team are getting absolutely right - it is invaluable feedback . With all best wishes, Annie
