"ED - IAU blackouts,Fits and head pain"

I arrived at A+E and reported my blackouts and fits that I am experiencing, the department was busy and everyone was dealt with very efficiently. I was seen by the A+E streaming nurse where I explained my condition in full detail and what happened to me in which they were very attentive and caring and asked me questons about my condition and answered them. They understood what I was experiencing and concerned , checked my blood pressure and examined me then sent me to IAU. The IAU nurse who did my CT, blood pressure and blood tests was fantastic, asked me how I was feeling and to wait to see the doctor. I waited as little as 15-20mins which was impressive and I was seen by the doctor who examined me l, asked me thorough questions about my condition and lifestyle including how my blackouts affect me, I told them when it started, how the head pressure sensation affects me they wrote all the information on the system and prompted me about a referral to Neurology and said I had been referred. Whilst we was talking I did have an episode where I fell out the chair on to the ground and was jerking whilst blacking out but they supported me through this. All the nurses were fantastic and friendly and acted professionally all the way through thankyou so much x I will go to ED/IAU again should anything urgent arise. I love the new very nice and vibrant new IAU department it helps patients with urgent needs to be seen more quicker and eases pressure on staff, it really is 10/10.
