Initially my GP thought that I had an aneurysm. She sent me to Stoke Mandeville and I was admitted to the Surgical Assessment Unit. I have to say that all the doctors nurses and staff were so professional and patient. It turned out to be severe diverticulitus by the way. A special thank you to all there - who have such a difficult job to do every day of the week, particularly the night staff - often Agency people - who couldn't have been nicer.
"A special thank you"
