Today I went to ntgh hospital for my 12 weeks scan. This is my first child so I was very excited and didn't know what to expect. Due to trafic I was around 5 minutes late. When I arrived the ward clerk took my notes and checked me in. They did not mention a problem with me being late. I walked in to waiting room and a healthcare worker with a horrible attitude spoke to me like I was 12. They told me they probably wouldn't let me have a scan done today because I was late . I was heart broken so I went to the toilet and had a little cry. I was with my mother who when the healthcare worker came out and said they would see me was rude and snappy because I was in the toilet they just assumed I was having a wee. They didn't realise they had upset me and I was crying. Eventually I was called in and in the blink of a eye I was rushed out the door again. I got to look at my baby for no more than 3 minutes . The midwife didn't even introduce themselves to me they sat with their back to me clicking on their computer. The other healthcare worker in the room however was a lot more plesent than the other two. On the screen the baby was very clear and I could make it out perfectly however they printed out a terrible picture of a blob. I even paid extra for more pictures and only got one. To say I am disappointed is a understatement. Defiantly be moving hospitals and going to Rvi.
