"First class treatment and care"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I have just had my second cataract removed and once again my care and treatment was of the highest standard.Indeed I feel that the Eye Hospital shows the NHS at its very best. All the staff involved with my care from reception, through to the nurses, anaesthetist, consultant and theatre staff treated me in a very professional, caring and courteous manner so I felt relaxed and calm during the surgical procedure. I feel that in this hospital you are valued as an individual and a friendly atmosphere is present at all times..Until now I have had limited experience of hospitals but my two experiences here were excellent ones.To have had both cataracts removed within three months, and with such successful outcomes has been superb. My very grateful thanks to all your excellent staff who looked after me.
