"When losing my baby the nurse was rude and opinionated"

About: Darent Valley Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I Came to Accident and Emergency recently suffering a threatened miscarriage several months gone.Got seen by a triage nurse and told to wait and do a urine specimen which had blood droplets going into it.Myself and Husband called up by Triage nurse to be advised to go home as there was an 8hr wait told if things persisted to come back or contact the E.P.U

Came back 3 days later and had a complete miscarriage.Treatment from male Dr/Nurse excellent.Treatment from Nurse later appalling, while losing my baby she shouted at me and was extremely rude and opinionated.I did nothing to deserve this. When I had got myself together I did complain and received an apology.Sadly Nurse has not been identified. On trying to put this very painful part of my life behind me the trust implied I had left A/E Of my own freewill days before I lost my baby.

I hold no trust any more and all faith gone of this Dept.Final thoughts are; How dare some nurses be allowed to talk and treat vulnerable patients so badly, you give the hospital a bad reputation there are fantastic Drs,Nurses etc that I admire for their hard work. Last point maybe communications could be improved and patient records correct.I hope to God I do not find myself in A/E any time soon and if I did suffer an unfortunate event I get spoken to with respect and dignity.
