I feel its time I wrote a review on Glenkens Medical Practise in New Galloway.
My review is based roughly on the past 8 years as I have attended the clinic on a fair amount of occasions. I will start with the girls in the front of house who do a fantastic job of organising appointments and are very professional and friendly, being a rural practise I think it it makes such a difference where everyone knows who you are as soon as you step in the door and are greeted with a nice smile and a good morning etc.
Next I move onto the medical staff who have always treated me with the greatest of respect and take time to listen and have never felt pressured into rushing my appointment, I like to take time and ask lots of questions about my treatment and have always came away feeling just that little bit better, I firmly believe what I was taught over the 25 yers as a first aider to just say there there you will be okay, no need to patronise you patient but just say if you need anything else please come back and seem me which I have always been told.
I talk with friends who have lived in big cities down south and I really don't think we realise how lucky we are in the Glenkens to have a practise where you do not have to plan you lines in advance and be great with the dreaded the computer says no! ! , keep up the good work guys and girls I for one one appreciate all you have done for me and I hope this review makes people realise what they have on their own doorstep is great and worthy of a pat on the back for all the staff. Thank you so much
