"Excellent in all departments"

Sadly I have had to visit hospital a few times over the past 18 months, however delighted that it was The Royal Surrey County hospital in Guildford. Consultants, nurses, X-ray, short stay surgery unit, day surgery unit, assessment clinic, occupational therapy units on every occasion were nothing short of excellent. all staff polite and professional and displayed a genuine desire to be the best they can. The only waiting time is in X-ray but not for more than 20 minutes. Assessment clinic can be busy but each time I made an appointment rather than wait around. When you turn up for the booked appointment you are seen as soon as you have filled in the necessary paperwork. Although I have visited several departments I will tick the most relevant at the moment. I am having a hip replacement shortly and everyone is most reassuring and I have complete faith in the consultant and team. Although I do have private insurance I have chosen to this hospital under the NHS for its reputation and cleanliness. I have not yet had an overnight stay but this is imminent. Not expecting brilliant food but this is the least of my concern. Top priority for me is excellent health care with truly caring and committed professionals. The NHS are always getting a bad press but then people are too keen to complain and not so keen to give praise. Well you have the big thumbs up from me. Well done
